Proverbs 13:22a A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.

This no doubt has a lot more to do with spiritual heritage than material. A wealthy man can leave material blessings for his posterity, but real wealth is having a relationship with the Lord through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior.

Mark 8:34-38 Says, “What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”

Lazarus died a poor man, and I am sure his encounters with Jesus Christ would have made him leave a spiritual heritage for his lineage. No one is good. The Bible says we claim our goodness through the adoption we merited by accepting the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross.
